Waterfall Resort
Ketchikan, AK
The Waterfall Resort is an all Inclusive located 60 miles west of Ketchikan, Alaska.
Guests fly to Waterfall Resort via a 40-minute scenic float plane over the famous inside passage channel towards the western shore of Prince of Wales Island to start their Alaskan adventure.
Built in 1912 as a remote salmon processing cannery, Waterfall operated until 1970 and then, after a $12 million dollar restoration project, Waterfall Resort reopened in 1982 as one of the finest sport fishing and wilderness destinations in Alaska and possibly the world.
Waterfall's location to prime saltwater fishing for king and silver salmon, halibut, ling cod, and red snapper has been the choice of over 2,000 guests each summer.
From high-speed boat cruising along dramatic ocean seacliffs to lunch in a quiet mist-filled bay to photography sessions with a rookery of sea lions or videoing a breaching humpback whale, guests return each summer because the service experience will be same but Mother Nature provides a different challenge every year.
