In the winter, spend your day on the slopes or relax and rejuvenate in our resort village, located just 6 miles off I-91. Ascutney's blend of slopeside accommodations, renowned children and adult ski school programs and multiple dining options, combined with a wealth of attractive amenities and activities provides a perfect recipe for a memorable vacation.
For children, Ascutney's award winning programs are located right in the resort village. Our Flying D.U.C.K.S. childcare center is a warm, safe and fun place for infants and young children who have not skied yet. Our Mini Olympians program is for children 4-6 years of age and starts off in our specially designed learning area 'Cheddar's Discovery Zone'. The Young Olympians program takes over from there and offers children 7-12 years old the opportunity to discover the mountain along with children of similar age and ability. The younger kids will love Cheddar's Happy Hour, a pizza party complete with games, movie hour, and face painting, hosted by Ascutney's mascot, Cheddar the Mouse. Teens can meet their friends at 'Bumps Teen Center', offering state-of-the-art video games, billiards, and all the right music. For the whole family, we have the 'Alpine Cinema', playing current movies. While knowing their children are having a great time, adults can sit back, relax and enjoy the many dining options and live entertainment.
Now don't worry, there is still plenty to do in the summer with the Summer Activities program. We offer a variety of summer activities from outdoor endeavors to the unlimited Vermont attractions that surround Ascutney Mountain Resort.So whether you're enjoying yourself Horseback Riding, visiting the longest covered bridge in America, or learning something new at the America Precision Museum, you won't want to be anywhere else for your family vacation.
At Ascutney, all of our accommodations are slopeside. Our 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condominium units have a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and sofa bed, dining area and outside deck. While our condominiums have fully equipped kitchens we also have 3 restaurants onsite.
